Born out of the minds of the Sensible Object team in London, Beasts of Balance is a cooperative, physical stacking and digital world building game in which players build a tower of beasts, each of which manifest in a digital app on a smart device. As players fill their world with beasts they are able to start splicing different beasts together to create new weird and wonderful creatures.
In 2017, the company ran a successful kickstarter campaign to create a Battles expansion for the game. This would include a range of new beasts some of which were Legendary Beasts such as a dragon, unicorn and space whale. Cool ya? I was brought on board this bizarre ark of other worldly beasts to help design the physical pieces so that they would look and feel beautiful, stack in a variety of ways for game play delight and be manufacturable in volume.
